Natural treatment based on Ayurvedic Hindu medicine
Stronger, shinier hair full of body
VCare is a blend of plants with its origins in Ayurvedic Hindu medicine, renowned for its infinite skin and hair benefits. It can be applied directly to hair to achieve stronger, shinier hair full of body without modifying the hair’s color.
Although it’s been specifically formulated for use as a hair care treatment, it doesn’t deposit color, which means it can also be used in combination with the vegan hair colors to reduce color intensity. It should be mixed and used as described in the application instructions. In low ratios it can also help to improve the mixture’s texture and adherence.
HOW TO USE
Wash hair and pat dry with a towel to remove excess water.
Weigh the plant hair color in a bowl and add hot water in a 1+3 ratio (or until you have the right consistency), then mix until you have an even paste. Infusion temperature is above 65°C/150°F, and to ensure this the water used should be at boiling point 100ºC / 212ºF.
Leave to rest for 10 minutes, covering the bowl with plastic wrap which should be touching the product to prevent water loss and improve efficiency.
. Wearing gloves, apply to fine strands of hair which should then be twisted into a turban-like shape on the crown to lock in moisture more effectively.
. Once the application is complete, cover the hair completely with plastic wrap and leave to process 30 minutes.
. Rinse off with water (only). Conditioner can be used if necessary.
. Following treatment hair should not be washed for a minimum of 24 hours (48 is recommendable). During the 24 – 48 hours after the treatment the color will evolve and stabilize, establishing greater chromatic uniformity from root to middle and ends as well as improved gray coverage.
