Biokera Vegan is a hair treatment and color range which connects us with our origins. Designed for biolovers who feel a strong tie to nature and also for people who can’t color their hair with oxidation dye because of an allergy to one of its components
The color treatment offered by Biokera Vegan “unites” with the hair’s original color in an effective and long-lasting manner and incorporates the knowledge and benefits of Ayurvedic Hindu medicine. The end result is nourished, hydrated hair full of strength and volume. The natural plant pigments present in Biokera Vegan merge with the hair’s keratin, gently enveloping and impregnating it. As a hair color based solely on plants it is unable to lift naturally dark hair, producing a two-tone effect that makes the reflect even more apparent and the resulting color appear much brighter
Designed for biolovers who feel a strong tie to nature and also for people who can’t color their hair with oxidation dye because of an allergy to one of its components.
HOW TO USE
. Wash hair and pat dry with a towel to remove excess water.
. Weigh the plant hair color in a bowl and add hot water in a 1+3 ratio (or until you have the right consistency), then mix until you have an even paste. Infusion temperature is above 65°C/150°F, and to ensure this the water used should be at boiling point 100ºC / 212ºF.
. Leave to rest for 10 minutes, covering the bowl with plastic wrap which should be touching the product to prevent water loss and improve efficiency. For tones containing little or no Indigo (VCARE, V44 and V64), the longer the rest time the better (even as much as 8 hours) as more pigments will be released and the hair color more effective.
. Wearing gloves, apply to fine strands of hair which should then be twisted into a turban-like shape on the crown to lock in moisture more effectively.
. Once the application is complete, cover the hair completely with plastic wrap and leave to process from 30 to 60 minutes. If the product applied is a hair care treatment, then 30 minutes will suffice. However, for optimum hair color application the product should be left on for 60 minutes with heat. The time and heat will determine the result and color intensity.
. Rinse off with water (only). Conditioner can be used if necessary.
. Following treatment hair should not be washed for a minimum of 24 hours (48 is recommendable). During the 24 – 48 hours after the treatment the color will evolve and stabilize, establishing greater chromatic uniformity from root to middle and ends as well as improved gray coverage.
